A woman is dead and grave fears are held for four others after an apparent rock-fishing accident at Catherine Hill Bay.b4r*}jE1@RD!k

Police discovered a female body on rocks about two kilometres south of the Catherine Hill Bay coal loader about 4pm. She was believed to be one of five Sydney anglers who failed to return from a fishing trip in the area on Sunday.

Police said they were searching for two couples, a 58-year-old woman and a 56-year-old man from North Rocks and a 63-year-old man and a 61-year-old woman from Carlingford, who had gone fishing together.

Late tonight police said they believed the group may also have included a 25-year-old Carlingford man.{d y&As@Fm}

The alarm was raised by relatives when the group failed to return as expected.
